M. Clay Ragsdale, Esq.

M. Clay Ragsdale, IV (“Clay”) is a civil litigation attorney operating as Ragsdale LLC. Clay graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1982 and has practiced law in Alabama for over 24 years. Environmental law is an important part of his practice, as he frequently represents landowners against water and air polluters. Clay has assisted Black Warrior Riverkeeper’s Legal Program immensely, donating countless pro-bono hours. He has also volunteered a great deal of time toward strategic planning, board administration, and donor/volunteer recruiting. A member of Black Warrior Riverkeeper’s Board of Directors since 2006, Clay has served as Board President in 2007 and as Board Treasurer in 2008.
