Action Alert Response Team
Purpose: This position helps Black Warrior Riverkeeper advocate for environmental policies and compliance with environmental laws, as well as work to find solutions to pollution problems.
Tasks & Responsibilities: Volunteers sign up for our email list and try to follow up quickly on all “Action Alert” emails that we send (ex. signing petitions, calling public officials).
Required/Preferred Skills: Strong communication skills
Time Commitment: Ad hoc basis
Site & Supervision: This work will be performed independently and remotely.
Volunteer Benefits: This position offers volunteers experience in advocacy and a chance to become more involved in environmental issues affecting the watershed.
