Black Warrior Riverkeeper is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization that relies on members (anyone who donates any amount of money or time) to help us protect and restore the Black Warrior River watershed. Becoming a member does not require anything beyond making a donation of money or time. Once you become a member, any further involvement in our work is purely voluntary. In rare but important occasions, members who enjoy the watershed may help us protect those areas by optionally serving as “members in standing” in our pollution lawsuits.
If you are interested in learning more about membership and/or various donation options, please email us at [email protected].
If you would like to learn more about volunteering instead of donating, or in addition to donating, please visit blackwarriorriver.org/volunteer/.
If you would like to donate in honor or memory of somebody, please contact Charles Scribner at 205-458-0095 or [email protected] and provide the name of the person being honored/remembered as well as the name and address of the person you want us to notify of this donation.
