Alabama Mountain Games Set For March 15th-17th
Whitewater Kayaking * Stand Up Paddle Boarding * Disc Golf *
Mountain Biking * Camping * VW Car/Bus Show * Music * Family Fun

Cleveland, Ala.—The Alabama Mountain Games (AMG) is the Southeast’s premier outdoor sports & music festival. This three-day event features competitions in white water kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, disc golf, mountain biking, and a volkswagon car/ bus show. There will also be live music coupled with fun-filled family activities for all to enjoy. The 2013 AMG will be held March 15th – 17th.

AMG base camp is located at Boogie Bottoms in Cleveland, AL. Boogie Bottoms has equipped the AMG with amenities that include a live music stage, dance floor, marketplace, children’s play area, adult game area and camping accommodations complete with restrooms, showers, and concessions. Boogie Bottoms is where competitors and campers will gather to enjoy the competitions, music, food, games, video of events and family activities. Weekend passes are $25 (includes camping fee) and children under 12 are free. All non-pro events are free to compete (excluding disc golf and insurance fees).

Some additional entertainment will be available for everyone to enjoy including jousting, moon bounce, corn toss, a climbing wall and fun races, basketball, fun games for all ages, etc. There is something for everyone!

We have a great band line up all weekend including Alice Gillee, One Eyed Mary, Mandie Rea and Westover Water, Strange Heirs, The Dozens, Rescue Dogs Band, The Deep End and Rollin’ in the Hay.

As the Southeast’s premiere annual extreme outdoor sports competition and live music festival, The Alabama Mountain Games is focused on promoting both environmental and recreational conservation across the state of Alabama. All Proceeds from the AMG will go to benefit the Brad Hind Land Trust, a non-profit corporation with a mission to acquire, preserve and protect land in and around Alabama.
