Are you concerned about water now that the hot, dry summer months are upon us? Perhaps you’ve been reading some of the recent articles in newspapers around the state discussing our water future and what state and local leaders are doing to plan for it. Well, now it’s your turn to pitch in and make a difference by making a few simple changes in your home and life.

Join Black Warrior Riverkeeper, Alabama Rivers Alliance, and other participating partner organizations in the Summer Save & Share Campaign!

All you have to do is:

Implement some of the water-saving tips that can be found on the Alabama Rivers Alliance website.
Watch your water bills to see how much water and money you save.
Donate the savings to Black Warrior Riverkeeper, the Alabama Rivers Alliance or one of the many participating organizations that are doing great work to help protect Alabama’s water resources.

As a special incentive, Good People Brewing Company, a new brewery that has opened in downtown Birmingham, has agreed to match any Save and Share donations! Any donation you make will be doubled and used to help ensure healthy water for all of Alabama!

Your participation will go a long way toward showing our state and local leaders that conservation and efficiency do make a difference and should be an integral part of any future water planning.
