Location: King’s Bend north of Cleveland , AL, up river from the highway 79/231 bridge of the locust Fork River . You are welcome to camp out at King’s Bend . Bring all other supplies to keep yourself comfortable – snacks, water, cushion to sit on, day pack, dress warmly in layers, etc…

Details: ANYONE can volunteer. Many positions are still available to help start, time, score, judge, public address, register, etc. There will be a training session the week before the race (exact time and location TBA). All NEW volunteers will be paired with an experienced volunteer, so no pressure. Half of your day is helping out; the other half is relaxing on the banks of the river watching racers negotiate down stream and up stream gates. Volunteers get a free commemorative race t-shirt!
