Kevin Wallace, CPA ~ Bookkeeper
Kevin Wallace has worked for nonprofit and governmental organizations for over 30 years. After graduating from UAB, he worked with United Way of Central Alabama for a few years assisting in performing audits for member agencies. After being accepted into the Executive MBA program at the University of Alabama, he went to work for a local CPA, still performing audits, but also providing bookkeeping services, all for nonprofits. After getting his MBA, Kevin worked as a CFO for a Birmingham area nonprofit for a couple of years. Then, when an opportunity arose, he started his own practice, providing accounting services to nonprofits and governmental organizations. That has been almost 25 years ago.
Kevin has always enjoyed the outdoors. Growing up in Walker County, Kevin spent as much time outside as possible, usually with a few dogs tagging along. Now living in Blount County, he still enjoys the great outdoors and is appreciative of organizations like Black Warrior Riverkeeper doing the work to protect it.
