The Locust Fork Band will play a charity concert for Black Warrior Riverkeeper at Bottletree Café from 3-6pm on Saturday, April 4th. Named after the Black Warrior River’s Locust Fork, this legendary Alabama rock and country band hopes to raise funds and awareness for watershed protection. Their website is http://www.locustforkband.com/

Supporting their efforts to protect Birmingham-area drinking water, public health, wildlife habitat, and recreation, Black Warrior Riverkeeper has thrown many successful benefit concerts at Bottletree in recent years. This event offers an added bonus in that it will take place during the day, and therefore children are welcome. The optional admission fee — a suggested $10 donation Black Warrior Riverkeeper at the door — will be waived for anyone under age 18!

For the adults, Bottletree’s full bar will be open throughout the concert. This eco-friendly cafe & music venue will also be serving food from 3-6, including brunch specials! Bottletree is located at 3719 3rd Ave S., Birmingham, AL 35222.
