Monty Waites, CPA ~ Accountant
Monty is a Partner at DLHC CPAs and Advisors. She is a graduate of UAB, and started out in public accounting in a small firm before moving to DLHC in 2004. Monty has worked with nonprofits during her entire career in public accounting, providing bookkeeping, tax and consulting services. She also serves on the board as Finance Chair for another local nonprofit. Monty volunteers with a local animal rescue and fosters dogs until they find their permanent home. Working with nonprofits is a specialty and a passion that Monty has truly enjoyed doing during her career, and being able to be a resource, advisor and part of the team of Black Warrior Riverkeeper is what makes her job so fulfilling.
