Outreach Team
Purpose: This position helps Black Warrior Riverkeeper spread the word about various issues and events, recruit new members/volunteers, and find relevant events for Black Warrior Riverkeeper tables/sponsorship/speeches.
Tasks & Responsibilities: Volunteers will share social media posts from Black Warrior Riverkeeper and keep their eyes open for any events that could be good opportunities for outreach. After finding relevant events and getting approval from Black Warrior Riverkeeper staff, volunteers can get materials to display/distribute there at Riverkeeper’s table/booth.
Required/Preferred Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Time Commitment: Ad hoc basis
Site & Supervision: This work will be performed remotely.
